Where does Dolly store my expense data?
A long-running ledger can hold ordinary days, trips and some of life's biggest decisions. Dolly stores the full ledger on your device and never asks for bank login details. An AI feature sends only the content required for that request.

You should not have to hand over bank credentials to understand your spending. AI features require internet access, and Dolly explains the information each one uses.

The most personal numbers should stay close.
Your full ledger remains on your device. Dolly explains when a feature needs to process something elsewhere.
Every step leaves room for you to check.
- 01
Keep the ledger on device
Transactions, payment methods, goals and categories live in an encrypted on-device database.
- 02
AI only where a feature needs it
Receipts, statements, insights, Ask Wallet and Pro tap categorisation on iPhone send only the content each feature needs.
- 03
Stay in control
Delete individual records or your account. To remove Dolly's remaining local app data, remove Dolly from your device.
